Modality: A Year of Growth, Grace, and God’s Favor

Modality: A Year of Growth, Grace, and God’s Favor

By Charlene Perez | Founder, Modality Life Practice

What a year it has been. When I look back on the last twelve months at Modality Life Practice, all I can say is God is faithful. Our business has grown 8,000% from last year — a number so staggering that even I have to pause and take it in. Numbers don’t lie, and this growth is nothing short of a divine blessing.

The first year of any business is a refining fire. It tests your patience, your identity, your mission, your boundaries, and your willingness to stay true to the vision. For us, it was also a year of alignment — discovering what works, what doesn’t, and who belongs in our space.

And now, one year later, Modality is stronger, clearer, and more purpose-driven than ever.

Finding Our Identity: Mind, Body, and Spirit

When I opened Modality, it wasn’t just a Pilates studio. It was a calling — a vision planted in my heart by Jesus Himself. I didn’t fully understand the “how” or the “when,” but I trusted the “Who.”

I dedicated this studio to Him.

I surrendered the business, the space, the outcomes, and the future.

And month after month, I have watched Jesus build what I could not build on my own.

The growth.

The protection.

The right clients showing up.

The wrong spirits leaving.

The clarity.

The peace.

The favor.

That is what happens when God breathes on something.

All Are Welcome: A Space for Everyone

Modality is faith-inspired, but not a church.

We do not preach.

We do not push belief.

We do not “convert.”

We simply live our faith quietly in excellence and service, and let people take what they need from it. Our studio is all-inclusive — every walk of life, every background, and every story is welcome here.

Some come for Pilates.

Some come to manage stress and anxiety.

Some come for mobility or pain relief.

Some come because they need community.

Some come because they can breathe here in ways they can’t elsewhere.

And for some, Jesus becomes part of that journey — gently, organically, and without pressure. When the Spirit leads, we invite testimonies. When someone wants prayer, we’re there. And for those who want a deeper spiritual experience intertwined with movement, we offer Pray Pilates, a safe and reverent space for those serious about their faith walk.

But everyone — absolutely everyone — is welcome and supported, without judgment.

Mental Health Services Coming This Spring

As Modality continues to grow, so does our mission.

This spring, we will be launching mental health services to support emotional wellness alongside movement and community.

This includes:

  • therapy services

  • safe, confidential sessions

  • accessible mental health support

  • integration with our Pilates and stretch practices

  • a place to process, heal, and grow

Mind and body were never meant to be separated. At Modality, we believe in supporting the whole person.

A Year of Testing, a Year of Alignment, a Year of Breakthrough

Every challenge this year taught us something.

Every test refined our mission.

Every misunderstanding sharpened our standards.

Every shift prepared us.

And now, we’re stepping into Year Two with confidence:

✔ our community is stronger

✔ our systems are sharper

✔ our purpose is clearer

✔ our services are expanding

✔ our growth is undeniable

Modality was built on obedience, service, and courage — and it has grown through God’s grace, community support, and the unmatched dedication of every client who shows up and believes in our space.

Thank You for Being Part of This Journey

Thank you to every client who trusted us.

Thank you to every supporter who believed in the vision before anyone else could see it.

Thank you to every person who walked into our doors and felt at home.

And thank You, Jesus, for building Modality into a sanctuary of wellness, peace, and purpose.

Year Two — we’re ready.

We’re aligned.

We’re covered.

And we’re growing even more.

Modality Life Practice: Mind. Body. Community. Christ-led, people-centered, and open to all.
